Subarashiki Kono Sekai The Animation

Neku Sakuraba wakes in the middle of Shibuya’s crowded Scramble Crossing with no memory of how he arrived. He soon learns that he is trapped in an unseen layer of the city, unable to interact normally with the living. A mysterious message assigns him a timed mission, with one simple penalty for failure: erasure.

To survive, Neku forms a pact with Shiki Misaki and enters the Reapers’ Game, where every day brings a new objective and hostile creatures called Noise. Neku has always preferred shutting other people out, but this game makes partnership a condition of staying alive. As the missions grow more dangerous, the people he meets and the secrets hidden beneath Shibuya force him to confront why he entered the game at all.
