Inuyashiki

Ichirou Inuyashiki is 58 and feels almost invisible even within his own family. Then he learns that he has advanced cancer and only months to live, before a mysterious accident rebuilds his body as an extraordinarily powerful machine beneath his human appearance. Rather than using that power for himself, Ichirou discovers new purpose in saving strangers. The same accident, however, transformed a young man named Hiro Shishigami, who chooses the opposite path. The two possess nearly identical abilities, but what they do with them reveals far more about the humans they were before their bodies changed.
