Kimi ga Shinu made Koi wo Shitai

At an orphanage where girls are raised as weapons for war, Sheena's roommate is announced dead at the beginning of class and the day simply continues. Sheena alone cannot accept how ordinary death has become and longs for an end to the conflict that keeps consuming children around her.

On the night her roommate dies, Sheena meets a blood-covered girl smiling as though nothing is wrong. The next day that same girl enters her class as Mimi, the rumored secret weapon who cannot die. When Mimi becomes Sheena's new roommate, an unusual bond grows between a girl who fears and rejects death and another who welcomes it without hesitation, even as the world keeps pushing both of them toward the battlefield.
