Shaman King (2021)

Shamans can communicate with spirits and combine their power with their own. Once every five hundred years, the strongest gather for a battle that determines who becomes Shaman King and gains access to the Great Spirit. Ordinary student Manta meets the relaxed Yoh Asakura in a cemetery and discovers that his new friend is training for that contest with the spirit of samurai Amidamaru. Yoh does not dream of ruling the world so much as living freely on his own terms, but his rivals carry far greater ambitions, especially Hao, whose history is tied directly to the Asakura family. As the battles grow more dangerous, Yoh learns that victory depends on more than spiritual strength; the bond between shaman and spirit, and the ability to understand an opponent, can matter more than any attack.
