Noragami

Yato is a minor god with no shrine and almost no worshippers, dreaming that one day his name will be known everywhere. For now, he scrawls his phone number on walls and accepts any job for five yen, from finding lost cats to fighting corrupted spirits, until his weapon partner finally abandons him after growing tired of his miserable career.

His luck changes when Hiyori Iki tries to save him from a car and the accident leaves her soul slipping out of her body without warning. She demands that Yato fix her, but he first needs a new weapon partner, leading him to the spirit of a boy named Yukine. The three become tied to one another’s problems, and between Yato’s cheap jobs, his bloody past, and phantoms that prey on humans, Hiyori discovers that the ridiculous unknown god carries a name far older and heavier than he lets anyone see.
