Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Gou

In June 1983, Hinamizawa appears to be a quiet village where Keiichi Maebara spends carefree days with Rika, Mion, Rena, and Satoko. As the Watanagashi Festival approaches, however, old deaths and disappearances resurface, and Keiichi begins noticing that his friends are hiding things connected to the village's past. Familiar days twist into paranoia and violence, but this tragedy is not new to everyone. Someone remembers watching similar fates repeat again and again and is determined to reach a different ending this time. The problem is that the rules once used to escape the cycle no longer behave as expected, as though another hand is rearranging the game from behind the scenes.
