Six years after the earthquake that devastated Shibuya and the murder spree known as New Generation Madness, the rebuilt district has learned to live with its scars. Then a new series of grotesque deaths begins, and high-school newspaper club president Takuru Miyashiro notices something chilling: the incidents are happening on the same dates as the old murders.

Driven by curiosity and his obsession with being ahead of the news, Takuru investigates with his friends. Their search leads through crime scenes, strange images, rumors, and people whose perceptions of reality cannot always be trusted. What begins as a school investigation soon places the club inside a new chain of madness, where understanding the truth may be more dangerous than remaining ignorant.
