Ao no Hako

Taiki Inomata reaches the school gym early every morning to sharpen his badminton skills, but part of his motivation comes from seeing Chinatsu Kano, the basketball star who practices there at the same time. He is a first-year student quietly admiring her from afar; she is an older athlete chasing a place at nationals.

When Chinatsu's family must leave Japan, she chooses to stay behind for basketball and, by coincidence, moves into Taiki's home. A distant crush suddenly becomes part of his everyday life, though living under one roof does not erase the uncertainty between them. Through practice, competition, and his friendship with gymnast Hina, Taiki tries to become an athlete worthy of standing beside Chinatsu both on and off the court.
