Koukaku Kidoutai Arise: Alternative Architecture

In the aftermath of the Fourth World War, Motoko Kusanagi becomes entangled in investigations involving cyberterrorism, political assassinations, and the elusive Fire Starter virus. The cases repeatedly bring her together with specialists such as Batou, Togusa, Ishikawa, and Saito, gradually forming the team that will operate as an independent public-security unit.

Just as earlier incidents begin to connect, a new threat emerges around the hacker known as Pyromania and a group linked to the Fire Starter. Motoko's team must trace the virus through layers of manipulated memories and political interests before it can ignite another crisis.
