Shaman King

Manta Oyamada can see something most people cannot: spirits. His strange ability leads him to new classmate Yoh Asakura, whom he finds chatting casually with the dead in a cemetery, and opens the door to the world of shamans. Yoh can unite with spirits and borrow their power, and he intends to enter the Shaman Fight, a tournament held every 500 years to choose the person who will become Shaman King and commune with the Great Spirit. With the samurai spirit Amidamaru at his side, Yoh begins a path that draws allies and rivals from around the world, each carrying a different reason for seeking the power to reshape it.
