Dr. Slump: Arale-chan

Inventor Senbei Norimaki creates what he hopes will be the perfect humanlike robot, only to discover that Arale is an absurdly strong, nearsighted, and completely unpredictable girl. He introduces her as his younger sister and sends her to school, hoping the people of Penguin Village never discover what she really is.

Keeping that secret is difficult in a town where talking animals, aliens, bizarre inventions, and impossible events are part of everyday life. Arale's innocent curiosity and overwhelming strength turn even simple errands into disasters, while Senbei's attempts to look respectable usually make the chaos worse.
