As the Turn A Gundam's Moonlight Butterfly begins reducing civilization to dust, the spirits of Amuro Ray and Lalah Sune look back across the Universal Century. Wars, revolutions, and generations of mobile suits pass before them as humanity repeatedly carries its conflicts from Earth into space.

Amuro and Lalah examine the lives that continued after their own deaths and the ideals inherited by later pilots. Against the cycle of destruction, they search for the fragile light created whenever people choose understanding over fear.
