Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai.

Years after Meiko “Menma” Honma died, the close group of childhood friends she belonged to has scattered. Jinta Yadomi, once at the center of that group, now avoids school and much of society until Menma begins appearing before him and asks him to fulfill a wish she can no longer remember clearly.

Jinta tries to dismiss her as a manifestation of his own guilt, but her request forces him to bring the old friends together again. Their reunion does not restore the innocence they once shared; instead, it exposes grief, jealousy, and regret that each of them buried after Menma's death. Discovering her forgotten wish means confronting why they truly drifted apart and finding the courage to say what was left unsaid that summer.
