Yumekui Merry

Yumeji Fujiwara can sense the kind of dreams people will have, a harmless talent until the same terrifying vision begins visiting him night after night. Then the nightmare reaches him while he is awake, revealing that beings from the dream world can invade reality by taking human bodies as vessels.

Yumeji is saved by Merry Nightmare, a mysterious dream demon who somehow exists in the waking world without possessing anyone and desperately wants to return home. Their goals align when more dream demons begin targeting humans. Yumeji can identify the danger, while Merry can fight it. Together they search for a path back to the dream world while protecting people from creatures willing to destroy another person's future simply to gain a body of their own.
