Psycho-Pass Movie 1

Japan has begun exporting the Sibyl System, and the war-torn South East Asian Union adopts it in the fortified city of Shambala Float as a path toward order. Back in Japan, foreign terrorists launch an attack, and evidence suggests they received help from Shinya Kougami, the former Enforcer who disappeared years earlier.

Inspector Akane Tsunemori travels to SEAUn to find Kougami and understand why his name is tied to the terrorists. Her investigation places her between the Sibyl-backed government, armed resistance, and the man she once worked beside, revealing that bringing a system of perfect judgment to another country can create violence just as easily as it promises peace.
