Grisaia no Kajitsu

Mihama Academy appears to be a quiet private school, yet it contains only five female students, each placed there because ordinary life outside has become difficult or impossible for her. Their closed routine changes when Yuuji Kazami arrives as the school's first male student, claiming that he wants nothing more than a normal high school experience.

Yuuji is hardly ordinary himself. He is calm to the point of unreadability and occasionally disappears for work he refuses to explain. As he grows closer to Yumiko, Amane, Michiru, Sachi, and Makina, the trauma, guilt, and broken families behind their enrollment begin surfacing. Yuuji may be able to push them toward their pasts, but helping them also draws attention toward the secrets that made him seek a place like Mihama in the first place.
