An old connection reappears after twenty years, a renovated home carries something its past never released, a music box somehow finds its way back to the same place, and memories thought finished begin standing in front of people again. In alleys, houses, train stations, and lonely campsites, ordinary people enter situations that seem familiar until one impossible detail makes retreat impossible. Sometimes the most frightening thing is not encountering something new, but realizing that what you were certain you left behind has found its way back to you.
