When darkness falls, the masked storyteller returns with tales shaped like modern urban legends: a custom nobody understands, a room that seems empty, or a person remembered by only one witness. Everything begins normally enough for people to dismiss their unease, until the ignored rule or uncomfortable feeling proves to have existed for a reason. Recognizing the danger offers no promise of survival, and understanding exactly what appeared is not always possible. As soon as one nightmare ends, the paper theater is ready for another, leaving behind an unpleasant thought: some stories people pass around may be warnings more than fiction.
