In a forest covered by fog, the masked storyteller opens his paper theater on tales that begin with small mistakes that seem easy to fix: a cruel prank in a cave, the feeling of being watched, a window that refuses to stay closed, or an umbrella taken from someone else. Then ordinary explanations stop working. Fear finds openings through carelessness, cruelty, and anxiety until a passing discomfort becomes something that clings to the person who created it. Many of these people do not meet danger through bad luck alone; they move toward it with one simple choice and realize too late that turning back is much harder than entering.
