Kidou Senshi Gundam

In Universal Century 0079, the Principality of Zeon wages a war of independence against the Earth Federation and transforms combat with mobile suits. When Zeon attacks the colony Side 7, teenager Amuro Ray finds himself inside the Federation's secret prototype, the Gundam, and pilots it simply to survive. Amuro escapes with civilians aboard White Base, but the ship is pulled into the center of the war and young people who never prepared for combat are forced into real military roles. Zeon ace Char Aznable pursues them as Amuro grows more capable with every battle. Any illusion of glory quickly fades; behind the giant machines are frightened, ambitious people, and every victory leaves a cost.
